In the post-pandemic environment in which we live, there is a need to understand how to reunite employees in offices and how to boost relationships between them within the company. Dixtior has been strengthening relations with its employees in order to combat this new reality and show our workers that it is safe and important to restore relationships.
When asked about this topic, our HR Coordinator Liliana Rodrigues mentions some topics that she considers important, and that are being applied in the company to combat this situation, reiterating that when it comes to the integration of people, although we can “be more agile in an online process, (…) without a doubt, in person, first impressions are much more impactful.”
That said, at Dixtior we work daily to promote a new balance and we do it by:
1. Promoting regular events, such as “a break to enjoy a breakfast between colleagues”, or even “corporate events and social and corporate responsibility actions”, which help bring our employees together in a more relaxed and informal environment, noting that, “we have foreseen many moments of conviviality for our people.
2. Encouraging dynamics within departments, it is a factor – important because it leads to the “strengthening of relationships within the department”, through “moments of interaction, where all actions are valid, as long as they are adjusted to the needs of each person”, –
3. Making the office an area of encounter and socialization, because even with the normalization of telework, “bringing people together in the company’s facilities should not be seen as the “bogeyman”, and everyone should feel safe and motivated to come to the office, and at Dixtior we work to “promote the balance between personal life and professional life -”, according to Liliana.
4. Being more alert to the mental health and well-being of our employees, as this is also a very important aspect, and indeed during confinement, the “Human Resources team was crucial”, and “the follow-up conversations we make with our people are very important to identify situations of this nature”, which we consider extremely important in Dixtior.
5. Flexibility at work, since at Dixtior we give our workers the option to work in the way they consider most productive for themselves, and it is important for everyone to analyze how they will work better and decide, “during confinement we can see this, because our productivity has not been affected… On the contrary, we have managed to overcome ourselves in terms of achieving objectives”, demonstrating that “if there is an adequate work environment at home, this person can even become more productive”
– Through these new integration approaches we believe it is possible to boost the relationship of our employees, contributing to happier employees. Their well-being is also ours.
